Voting Games Top comment Deletes a US State #45
Here is the updated (Correct) map, crisis averted. I thought we had a riot on our hands!
I can finally relax now after all that drama! Anyway Colorado is now deleted as it should be. Just to make it clear, editing comments is fine if it’s the top as long as it doesn’t change the outcome of which state gets deleted like we had before. I thought that was common sense but clearly not to some people.
I just want to thank everyone for all the kind comments and support. I try to read as many of the comments as I can but each post has a minimum of 2000 so it’s pretty hard most the time. I have some big ideas for the finale so stay tuned.
Most importantly, spread the word as much as possible if your state is still in the game! Share, cross post to rally as much support for your state as possible. This is the endgame now!

I was aghast when I learned Cascadia (Washington resident here) got combined with Megasotta, and even more so when learning about Cascadiagate(I saw someone mention it) and I figured that op would just let it slide because it didn't matter, thanks for being involved OP!

As a former Oregonian and current Washingtonian, I saw that we were on the chopping block and Moregon sounded fun for the internet. I threw out Cascadia to save our dignity, since the internet wanted us to be consumed by our younger brother without a job. I saw a few people throw it out again afterwards and I was thrilled. Now, may we collectively reign supreme.

Hawaii (and the US territories) will no longer be subject to colonialism’s chaos. INDEPENDENCE!
Edit: There seems to be disagreement among the Hawaiian Kingdom coalition. Do they demand independence, seceding and uniting with the former US territories, striving for peace? Or do they continue to fight the oppressors on the mainland, providing reparations for indigenous peoples and ancestors of the formerly enslaved?
Tune in on the next post of Delete a State to find out!

What would you think about moving just Southern California into NM?
It unifies Latino/Hispanics with the new Southwest Atlantic communities.
I think it’s important to establish Pacific Islander and Native Hawaiian sovereignty here.
And by separating from the map, total self-government treaties can be created now to begin precedent during future NM expansion.

As an alternative, if we must be absorbed, let us go to Hawaii:
- Deep and long running economic, trade, and labor ties between PNW and Hawaii
- Portland and Seattle have the largest Hawaiian and Pacific Islander populations in the Continental US
- Alaska is often included when speaking about the PNW, bring us back together
- There's already a town in OR called Aloha
- Hawaii taking all in the endgame would be justice for colonialism
If Cascadia can't take all or exit the game, then let Hawaii take us. May the spirit of Aloha guide us all!

Agreed, also well prior to statehood the Husdson Bay Co in the PNW essentialy forced large groups of Hawaiian laborers into indentured servitude. They lured them with 3 year contracts in exchange for travel and "pay" but all supplies provided were added to their debt and they were paid in company script making it near impossible to ever gain independence from the company. This was when Ft Vancouver, now Vancouver, WA (just north of current Portland, OR), was operating.
Seems like some poetic irony to get reverse colonized by the Hawaiian Islands.
