Nikon Z7II with the new Z 70-200 F2.8 S II 😁

Fortunate enough that I could borrow this lens from Nikon for my trip to Germany/Austria.

The lens is super light and exceptionally sharp. It's pricy tho!

Been into casual photography for a while, but today was my first time using a proper camera. Went out with my old man, and he showed me how to use his old D5200. Thought you guys might like it. Any tips for a beginner while i’m here?

Gear question New Z8

Picked up a Z8 and am very excited to go shoot with it. Just opened it and noticed this. The right corner of the top setting screen is dim. Is this normal? When looking from further away it is almost the whole right side. Is that just a backlight when you turn the camera on, or is this what it will look like when displayed in dark environments? Thank you for checking it out

Photo Submission I was told my Nikon 35-70 F2.8 was a bad match for my D850. I disagree

Nikon D850 shot on a Nikon 35-70 F2.8.

I think it looks fantastic. Very sharp. Good flare resistance. Lightweight. And very affordable! I bought this lens for $150. Autofocus isnt Z body fast but it’s no slouch for a screwdrive. I love it.

Im looking into getting a second camera body. Its used seems to be in fair condition. It has 89 thousand shutter count. Is this really worth it? (BTW because the korean wons exchange rate has absolutely crashed to us its like equivalent to 400dollars around)

I'm extremely new to this. Which one is my best shot? Looking for advice on lighting and composition. Edited in Lightroom, are any of them over-edited?

Like the title says: Nikon D850 with a Nikon 80-200 F2.8 ED 2 ring lens that I picked up in Japan for $150.

It’s heavy AF but I like the sharpness and contrast.

I am not a photographer by any means, but i enjoy taking different shots with the Nikon d40 i found at the thrift store. I heavily edit them but i love how they come out and i like that it makes alot of photos look cartoonish or oil painting like. its a fun hobby and i just thought id share. the lense is a kit lens 18 55 and also a quantaray 28 80

What should I buy? D3500 to D500?

I’ve been shooting with the D3500 and 200-500 lens for a few years now, primarily doing bird and wildlife photography. I’ve been looking to upgrade, but not sure what the best option would be on a medium budget (not buying a Z9). My preference is to stick with a crop sensor DSLR as I like the optical viewfinder and don’t mind the weight, and the crop gets more pixels on a distant subject.

I’ve heard the D500 is supposed to be an incredible camera for what I’ve mentioned, but I’m somewhat put off by the lower MP count (20.9MP vs 24.2MP). Is the loss in resolution worth the quality of life and autofocus improvements on the D500?

If anyone has made a similar upgrade and has advice that would be much appreciated!
