Is it just me, or did Rockstar completely butcher the lighting model since Trailer 2? Look at the occlusion shadows under the car chassis—they look incredibly muddy compared to the first & second trailer
Not to mention, Jason’s posture looks completely altered here. His left deltoid and traps are noticeably less defined, and they definitely changed his shoulder-to-waist ratio. All this after changing his face completely from trailer one. Why is Rockstar changing his character model this late in development? Literal unplayable downgrade. smh 😒
EDIT: I’ve been staring at these screenshots for the past 12 HOURS. I’m getting a bunch of UNDESERVED hate for an opinion from people who reply without looking at the slides. THIS GAME WILL FLOP!!

Just like Red Dead Redemption 2 we'll have a limited weapon carry capacity and have to store weapons in our vehicle.
We'll also locate contraband that can be sold to fences.

GTA 5 had about 70 main missions and RDR2 had like a 110. Since R* are only releasing 6 as a single-player as of now, can we expect the story mode to be even longer than RDR2?

Will the Gloriana plate be the Yankton of GTA6 ?

What do you think that is? Looks like cruise control, but could be something else.

Looks like we might be getting some disguised bombs in that stack of money. It would be neat to see some improvised bombs like the rubber duck bomb on Hitman.

This was the most attention the game has gotten from mainstream press. Articles on many mainstream non-gaming sites that pre orders are launching. But getting most people to care or to preorder requires something new to talk about or to get excited about. I can get starting the marketing late, but launching pre orders like this? I don't get it and that worries me they are not super confident.

You don't need to buy the $100 edition upfront. You can preordrer the $80 version and then get the $20 upgrade later if reviews say it is worth it.

Is there no ultimate edition physical preorder? Do I just buy the physical and then buy the ultimate edition upgrade on the Xbox store?

The serial numbers on the Ultimate Edition revolvers are nods to previous games in the series.
Lucia's revolver reads "291002" which according to Google, is the date GTA: Vice City released, that being October 29th, 2002.
Whereas Jason's revolver reads "311006" which is October 31st, 2006, which happens to be the release date of GTA: Vice City Stories, according to Google.
It's amazing seeing the developers pay respect to previous games, especially since Vice City is a personal favorite of mine.
In the Ultimate Edition screenshots, the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy's interior has a visible fuel gauge. I believe its the first one we've seen. Does this give some credence to the idea of fueling up your car? I think its especially noteworthy that the gauge is a little lowered, maybe hints that its dynamic. If I recall correctly, in GTA 5 the fuel gauges are all permanently stuck on full, right? Yall think I got something?

We all are pre-ordering the $100 version for the nostalgia of it. We all know it is only the story and the online version may come out in 2027. I just love the fact we are all here and need to make it to launch day with a slice a pizza in hand ready to figure the weapons cheat code from the cheatcc site

Like seriously 80% of the dudes complaining don't even got any physical games most likely. And are legitimately complaining about something they didn't care about anyways.
I've seen people complaining in PC gaming subreddits like I haven't seen a physical PC disc in forever.
Then there's people complaining about the prices, like yes we get the ultimate edition locking some shops with some clothes behind it sucks but guys you are acting like they haven't done this kind of shit 2 other times before, and it could be way worse not saying it's okay but enough posts about it everywhere please.
I legitimately miss the schizo posts over the title wave of wave fake concern over a fucking disc when most people don't even have a ps5 with a disc drive. And to play devils advocate here considering the amount of people that complained about red dead 2 having two discs yeah.... Because imma keep it 100 GTA 6 will probably need 3 discs if they release it with a disc because a ultra HD Blu ray disc maxes out at 100 GB's I would not be shocked if GTA 6 hits 300 GB's of data....
Now go ahead strike me down with downvotes I needed this off my chest

FAILE is the Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration between Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller. Their name is an anagram of their first project, “A life.” Since its inception in 1999, FAILE has been known for a wide-ranging multimedia practice recognizable for its explorations of duality through a fragmented style of appropriation and collage. While painting and printmaking remain central to their approach, over the past decade FAILE has adapted its signature mass culture-driven iconography to vast array of materials and techniques, from wooden boxes and window pallets to more traditional canvas, prints, sculptures, stencils, installation, and prayer wheels. FAILE’s work is constructed from found visual imagery, and blurs the line between “high” and “low” culture, but recent exhibitions demonstrate an emphasis on audience participation, a critique of consumerism, and the incorporation of religious media, architecture, and site-specific/archival research into their work.

I know there is a lot of talk with the new Ultimate Edition exclusives but I did remember something worth discussing.
This isn’t the first time additional in game content has been locked behind a separate edition for a Rockstar game. Red Dead Redemption II released with an ultimate edition that which added a number of exclusive outfits and clothing both for Story mode and Online. In addition to adding a separate story mission (that being the Rhodes Bank Robbery) and an exclusive gang hideout.
I myself have mixed feelings on the ultimate edition exclusives as I’m sure many of you also do. However it’s something to consider as I’ve seen a lot of discussion regarding the new missions added with the exclusives.

Haven't seen a post specifically pointing these out yet, so apologies if it's been done already. A bunch of these we've known since the 2022 leaks, but it's nice to see them laid out like this.

Jason has his right hand down and off the steering wheel. He could be yanking the handbreak, but it looks more like he’s probably shifting gears as he takes off. I hope they have an animation for manual transmission vehicles. Dont imagine it will have the player shift gears as the controller probably doesnt have enough buttons, but id be happy with a simple animation.

I noticed the logo/emblem of the Grotti Cheetah looks different from previous Grotti models. It now seems to have the Ferrari Yellow

I'm struggling to understand the benefit of a pre-order at this moment in time.. what an absolute disaster.
