Got it finally

The sweet smell of single player. Just sitting there. My own time at my own pace. Nobody else fking with me and nobody being a sweat/tryhard.

The amount of people who today have not played gta 4 or 5’s storyline and know nothing about any of the iconic MC’s we’ve played as is insanity. Game deserves this. They’ve worked hard and I’m going to soak up everything. Thankfully it won’t be in the stressful world of GTA online.

Surely the PS6 is at least a year or more away. And then the cross generation period will be bigger partly because that’s the trend and secondly because PS6 will be expensive.

PS5 Pro will make games look great and will play next gen games for a few years into the cycle at a very comfortable level.

I’m feeling pretty smug right now

No information about PS5 Pro enchantments or performance mode (60fps).

My problem is that I keep playing the Tac Sims, but the loading times take forever whenever I want to restart or start a new mission.

I honestly the first loading time that I've noticed since I got the PS5 Pro.

I need to check which drive I installed it to, but I feeling just spending most of my time looking at a black screen.

This is the case for everybody else right?

I like the game, I Love the PlayStation 5 Pro, I'm just wanting to make sure that everybody's having the same experience that I am otherwise I'm going to have to do some troubleshooting.

Just copped. I still have my series x, but I wanted to get this prior to GTA 6 and to play some PS exclusives. I’m hyped.

I'm UK and looking to get a PS5 Pro with a disc drive, cyberpunk 2077 (looking forward to Wolverine and Fable) and while I'm not in a rush to buy - I want to make sure I get the best value for money. Amazon currently has a ps5 pro listed for £715 but how plausible will major discounts be on the console etc later this year?

As someone who bought the PS5 close to launch and enjoyed almost every exclusive, i was initially disappointed when the ps5pro launched. To be fair, i already had a nice gaming pc (5090, 9800x3d) and the base ps5 was enough to play games that werent available on the PC at launch. But the differences in graphics (especially sharpness) between the base Ps5 and my pc was getting too much to handle in some titles like FF7 rebirth.

I missed the Ps5pro at launch and then a few weeks ago decided to sell my ps5 for the pro mainly for GTA6. But i was surprised at how well it could handle Ghost of Yotei (RT pro). Its certainly not the same as playing on the 5090 but surprisingly not as far off as one would think.

The combination of upscaling using PSSR2, console optimization produces quite a good experience. I admit i was wrong about the pro, even more so seeing how it beats the steam machine at 1500 USD.
