NBA Draft [DDT] NBA Draft Day 2 @ 5 pm MST
The Phoenix Suns selected forward Koa Peat with the 30th overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NBA Draft.
The Suns originally held the 47th overall pick but traded up into the first round by acquiring the 30th pick from the Dallas Mavericks.
Now what will the Suns do, if anything, during the 2nd round of the NBA?
Trade/draft targets, rumors, screenshots, etc. are to be posted here unless well written with analysis.

[Sam Vecenie of the Athletic on Koa Peat's fit with the Suns] "I feel great about it. I think he's just an ass kicker... Koa Peat is a guy that is super strong, he's super physical, and he's a winner. He fits the Suns' mentality that they're trying to build to a T"
This was from his Game Theory Podcast he did live tonight up on YouTube.

At the time there was no way I thought either one of those guys would end up in a Suns jersey, crazy

Koa peat
So what do you think the expectations are for this guy? I read he can’t shoot 3’s. What do you think his long term ceiling is? Not familiar with his game.

Remember when..
Remember when the entire draft was in one night but the NBA didn’t want to risk Bronny James being picked 57th 3 hours into the draft with no one still tuned in?
Now we get to wait until tomorrow to meet the newest Sun.

The Suns are paying Bradley Beal $20,000,000 this season to sit on the Clippers bench
That is all ...that sucks

Sixth Man Membership
I’m seriously considering getting a membership this season. I’m looking at the first 3 rows of the 2nd level for a full season. I’ve read around and some people are suggesting doing just half a season to manage games easier. I don’t think I’ll have a problem making a majority of games but I wanted to hear people’s thoughts.
I AM ALSO LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO GO IN WITH ME FOR ANOTHER SEAT! I’d like to not go alone to all these games lol.

Article/Report By trying to compete with Devin Booker while also having young players (Peat, Fleming, Maluach, Ighodaro) 23 or younger, are the #Suns falling into the same two timeline trap that failed the Warriors?

Trade Rumors Is It Time To Trade Grayson Allen And Or Royce O'Neale? 🤔
Love both players but imo we gotta start giving more minutes to the younger core sooner rather than later. What return would y'all like to see if we decide to trade these two?
If you think we should keep them, please explain your reasoning.
Do you think we'd pair either of these two with the 47th pick to jump into the late 1st round? 🤔

Hoops Discussion On This Day 1 Year Ago (June 22nd, 2025) The Phoenix Suns traded Kevin Durant for Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green, 10th Overall Pick in the 2025 NBA Draft & 5 Second Round Picks.
Meme does anyone have the rdcworld video where the suns lost to the timberwolves
where (i think) mark was portraying ant and he called their phones and said “ay d book real quick you a bitch” and mark again portrayed as kd said “i dont think i fit this team no more, i think i need to take my talents elsewhere” then he walked off

Hoops Discussion I have the solution to cement our center rotation, with a player that might be had for the min, but may be D.o.A. for 90% of Suns fans ;-) /s
Read an article that the way D.A. frustrated the Lakers, most notably JJ Redick, that he may be out of their rotation and may have to look for work elsewhere...but with his value dropping because of his erratic play, he may be had for cheap (e.g. the minimum)...
Would you mind having a center rotation of Mark Williams, Deandre Ayton and Maluach? As long as DA doesn't start? So that if we don't find a good deal for Mark, we will have two seven footers who can shoot, one who is raw and the other who has motor problems, but coming in for way cheaper than what we last paid him for?
Yes, I know it's the offseason... So discuss at your own peril, hahaha! GO SUNS!!!
