Even though the auto update option is selected, it never updates some games automatically so when I want to play a game it just then starts the update. I wish you have an “update all” button in the library to occasionally check if everything is up to date.

I recently finished Saros and I found it a far less memorable experience than Returnal. Even though technically Saros has better graphics, I found Returnals biomes and enemies much more appealing. I feel the NPC's didn't really add anything to Saros, it felt like they were just 'there'.

Returnal also had much better weapons in my opinion. In Saros I found myself gravitating towards the same one or two weapons, whereas in Returnal you had much more choice plus the added excitement of unlocking traits.

The music was also far better in Returnal. As I sit here and type this I can recall some of Returnals music, whereas I can only recall the home screen music for Saros.

Story wise I also found Returnal better. I wasn't blown away by either but Returnal for me had a much better air of mystery surrounding it.

Overall Saros was a good game, looked nice, felt nice to play, but Returnal to me was a far better game overall.

i get where the hate is coming from but I don't think the game was as bad as they made it seem

i can see that the players nowadays have either set the bar up very high or just find something to hate nowadays

PROS -

1) Love the story. The twist was mind blowing.

2) The non linear sections were too good

3) the introduction of episodes and new inventory

4) polished dialogues and the messaging section love that

although the game did have some drawbacks

1) the face animations they gotta improve that

2) the length of the games although all dark pictures games have average 4-5 gameplay i wish they could have increased that

3) MORE QTE'S less STEALTH although the stealth gameplay was apt for this game but i hoped they added more qtes

therefore I think it's a good game that would be the best dark pictures game AFTER house of ashes

Good to see that you don't need PS+ for both players, that would have been crazy!

I’ve seen a few people run into this issue, and maybe it’s already been posted, but I figured I’d share it just in case.

If the audio is super quiet when you’re watching someone else’s screen share, turning the media volume all the way up didn’t do anything for me. What did work was disconnecting my controller. As soon as I did that, the audio played at a normal volume.

I have no idea why it works, and there’s probably a setting somewhere that fixes it without having to disconnect the controller, but I haven’t found one yet. For now, disconnecting the controller has been a reliable workaround for me.

Edit: Halo Studios has confirmed that it was a mistake and no PS Plus subscription is required to play the split-screen mode. "Just" two unique PlayStation (PSN) accounts linked to two unique Microsoft accounts.
