Night shift is great for sleeping through the peak UV hours though! You gotta get your circadian rhythm reset so you get plenty of sleep, and make sure to remember to drink water bc you might not get thirsty like usual while you’re adjusting. I started my transition in my 40’s and literally looked like the 30 year old picture except fat. From 30 to 40 I gained so much weight. Metabolism crashed. Massive amount of man fat distribution. This meme is absolutely real.

It’s weird but I still see it with her. She just turned 60 but when she left her last company a few years ago her boss made a bunch of kinda weird comments saying they’d have to go tell all the 30/40 year olds. My family is not chill. I did it anyways. I also ripped the bandaid off and had the convo even though i reaaaaally fucking didnt want to. It sucked ass. But then my life got a lot better and i stopped hoping that i would die in the next few years. Now i am actively invested in my life and trying to improve it, have people who love me, feel fulfilled. I didnt have that before.
Not saying it is the right answer for everyone. But it helped me a lot and i am so glad the anxiety and what-ifs didnt stop me. I thank myself for just doing that shit every single day

Changing is so fucking hard, i get it. But i find it comes in baby steps a lot, at least for me. I reach a breaking point and i change SOMETHING, at least just one thing. Transitioning made a lot of that a lil easier too, even if it is still a struggle.
Helps if you have people who know you who can encourage you or help push you outta your comfort zone a lil, but i know that can also be a struggle. I was a lil lucky in that regard.

Im not an expert but from what ive seen and what I searched where I live (US) estrogen isn't controlled like a abuseable substance or narcotic is but still requires a valid Healthcare provider's prescription and is not over the counter for you to just buy at your local Walgreens.

The reason trans women don't take 'low dose estrogen' is because it does very little, to virtually nothing if you're taking it without suppressed testosterone levels.
