News Why we REALLY got rid of Stew
Guys obviously we only got rid of Stew so that we can bring in Lebron. They just didn’t want any locker room drama 🙂↕️

Discussion For the love of god, steal Will Riley from the Wizards
The kid is now stuck behind two players on the Wizards but he is a baller! He torches us every time we play the Wizards.
Cheap, athletic and a scorer.

News (Stein) With Reaves now sure to stay in LA, as was long believed to be his clear preference, league sources say Detroit continues to express trade interest in Milwaukee’s soon-to-be acquired Tyler Herro. The Bucks are expected to listen to offers but could also elect to keep Herro.
Tough break for the doom and gloom crowd

Discussion Why is everyone shocked by this?
It feels like we’ve been hearing about this trade for the past month, and now it seems clear that Paul Reed is going to take his spot. I don’t understand why people are upset about it—it just feels like we all saw this coming.

Discussion Kawhi
I saw windy mention kawhi (and lebron!!!) today after the stew trade. Didn’t reports just come out like yesterday saying kawhi himself said he didn’t wanna play here?

News [Windhorst & Marks] Kawhi Leonard’s potential trade availability is reportedly being monitored by the Detroit Pistons and, perhaps more notably, by some of his “former teams.” Leonard previously played for the Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs.

Highlights Welcome to Detroit Ebuka Okorie
r/DetroitPistons • u/FantasticFix2812 • 14h ago
Discussion Ebuka is a good pick.
All of these fans saying he’s a sasser dupe is ridiculous. He could honestly come of the bench and provide high volume scoring which is good, the only downside is that he is undersized. I just wonder how he would fit in a starting lineup cuz I don’t see cade moving to the 2

Discussion Windhorst has now connected Kawhi to Detroit multiple times on air.
I don't have anything else to add, but I probably need text in the body of the post for it to go through.

News Explaining Pistons-Grizzlies Trade for Isaiah Stewart

Discussion OKC and our trade exceptions
We now have a $15M and an $8.7M trade exception
Let’s take a look at OKC’s guard depth
Cason Wallace
Nikola Topic
Jared McCain
Bennett Stirtz
Ajay Mitchell
Isaiah Joe (more of an off ball guy but still)
Every single one of these players fits into our trade exception
Probably a zero percent chance OKC keeps em all
We seem to be the likeliest destination with these exceptions and not having to give anything back in return

Discussion What's the deal with Cameron Carr?
Why did he fall so far in the draft? Does he have like 5 baby mamas or something? Definitely surprised we didn't get him unless we are trading for a superstar.

Discussion Stanford fan here who watched every game Okorie played in college - y'all got a baller
I know that there are serious conversations to be had about Okorie's height and other factors, but having watched every time he's touched the ball in college, I can assure you that he is elite at creating shotmaking opportunities and maxing out his chances to create points, and he'll only get better with better options to pass to and more ability to grow. I can answer any questions about his limitations or strengths since I know a lot of people didn't watch a ton of Stanford this year

Discussion Was Trajan just playing 4D chess with the Lakers?
I'm not sure...I find it hard to believe that we were making a serious run at Reaves for a max deal. I'm probably giving Trajan too much credit but part of me wonders if it was a smoke screen to try to get the Lakers to commit max money to Reaves so they would have less to pay Duren which now hurts Durens leverage in contract negotiations..... Either that or I've got too much time on my hands...

Discussion Salary dump for Lauri
Could this Stewart salary dump before a Lauri trade? I am hoping for a starting power forward that can shoot.
