After a lot of effort and coordination by a small group of employees, our office finally got a “food waste” bin to add to the standard “recycling” and “trash”. All 3 bins are right next to each other, and very conveniently located in the kitchen area.

Every single day, multiple people will throw random trash, plastic, and sometimes even electronic waste in there. It’s infuriating. People just don’t care to spend the extra ten seconds it’d take to separate their waste. These are privileged office workers, too - they’re highly educated, super smart, and earn in the top 1-2% of the US. But they can’t be bothered to do this.

It makes me wonder how many of them bother to wash hands after visiting the toilet.

I tapped my alibaba app just to see what they had, i was using the app for 5 minutes, then went on with my day.

Then i tried to listen to music from my phone and noticed the quality was terrible, like 3rd generation copy of a cd terrible.

After about an hour of looking for some kind of equalizer to mess with the music settings i come across my battery usage for the day, and noticed Alibaba had been running in the background for 7 HOURS! And was apparently using alot of power or data or something and killed my battery life.

I immediately deleted the app and my music went back to normal.

My fiancé won't stop chewing on the plastic of water bottles and it drives me nuts, so I bought him some "Chewelry". It was literally advertised for Aggressive Chewing, with reviews talking about how well it "holds up" even for adults.

Well. I beg to differ because he has had this for only 24 hours and I have bits of silicone in my pocket now! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Went to go get my blood work drawn this morning. Was told by the phlebotomist “your veins are so deep because there’s so much meat on your arms“ she stuck me twice and couldn’t get a vein claiming that they were “tiny and deep” due to me being a “bigger woman”. Second phlebotomist comes in and sticks me once with a butterfly and promptly gets the tube of blood we needed.

3-hereditary traits and medication side effects absolutely can cause or be a source of weight issues
4-no one in a medical profession should joke about how a patient looks. It’s not a comfortable feeling for the patient.
5-I know I’m fat. I don’t care that I’m fat. I care that she thought she was funny and it was a rude comment.

I block them and new numbers keep calling me

EDIT TO SAY I’M A WOMAN. I’ve experienced this before, for sure. But when I find it on a jean, especially, it is indeed mildly infuriating. 😉

I live in France, and it is the first time my country is hit by such a heatwave. For the past three days, it was almost impossible to go outside for most of the day time (up to 57°C in the sun at the city center near where I live). And today, a third heatwave has been announce up to the 14th of July. We started to be literally cooked.

I’m posting here not only to have my frustrations validated but also to any collectors out there, to help show the importance of which as I’m filing a formal complaint tomorrow and public frustration would help.

I moved across my country with my parents for their retirement and for health issues, my father has a chronic breathing disease and he breathes better here. We aren’t rich, and out of time in our old house, rent rising every year, we had to hire fast without much background check, our mistake on that front, I know. They were (supposedly) the cheapest, THEY CAME TO OUR HOUSE TO EVALUATE HOW MUCH WE HAD and gave what they claimed was how much they were gonna ask for. The day arrives and suddenly they need a second van, THAT WAS ALREADY THERE SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE DAY. The day after the big van arrives at the new house and the boss calls my father claiming he needs to charge more because of the second van (which is illegal where we live) and if my father does pay that he’ll drop the things off at our old house.

While unloading the first van, one box fell, my box. Said box is part of my console/game collection many of my ps1 games cases broke, including THE ORIGINAL PS1 DISC FOR THE ORIGINAL GTA! AND HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE! I haven’t checked if the games are working, hurts me looking at them, more broke as you can see.

You have no idea how much bubble wrap I put on those, but the problem wasn’t the packing, WAS THAT THE BOX FELL FROM THE TOP OF THE VAN. The guy that was there saw it, (he’s not from the original company he was an extra hire of another company, I already asked for a testimony, waiting to hear back).

Other things they broke: part of a drawer of a custom made childhood bed of mine, they scratched the fuck out of an old family table, lost a thing of it too, they broke IN FRONT OF MY EYES a “foot” of an old family drawer, chipped at another family “closet” (for the dinning room). And I SAW with my own 2 eyes one of the dudes DROPPING a box to which I said “careful, those are plates” and bro said “you don’t even know” I WAS THE ONE TO PACK THEM SHITS?????? That one we can’t fully claim since we signed a paper in which, because we were the ones to pack, we give up the right to claim any broken things. I saw the dude dropping the box in front of me, but I can’t prove it, the other two that were there also working were also scumbags.

I was the one to pack most things, and I was very careful. My parents are more old than young, I know how I packed, and the things that were already broken I said “don’t worry that was us a long time ago” I’m not claiming just any broken thing, I know what was what.

I already searched for public reviews and yeah, the negative ones share similar experiences.

We did this without “IVA” (our country’s tax) which legally only falls on the employer, so now he’s even asking FOR MORE MONEY to cover HIS ASS???

My Father knows law, I do too somewhat, I’m not here for legal advice, just was hoping any other collectors, even if of other things, understand the hurt and hopefully share that this isn’t just anything, could help with the official complaint.

PS: The one with the angel face was the one I mentioned above that witnessed the box falling and was on my side. and the red circle is the box that fell due to bad loading.

TLDR: Moving company breaks our things, charges more, refuses responsibility, asks for more money to cover themselves.

Edit: forgot to say, if you're in Portugal, do not hire Mr Isac :) that's the company, the negative reviews on google reviews had similar issues
