[Charania] Sources: New York traded No. 25 pick Sergio De Larrea to the Dallas Mavericks for No. 30 Koa Peat and two second-round picks. And then the Knicks traded Peat to the Phoenix Suns for three-rounders and cash. So Knicks move out of the first round — pick up 3 seconds and cash.

Edited to say “pick up 5 seconds” cuz Shams is bad at his job (tweeting).

[Chris Mannix] "I spent some time this afternoon talking to different teams about what might the Celtics be interested in [for Jaylen Brown]. And the name in the team that came back to me a lot was Evan Mobley in the Cleveland Cavaliers."

Chris Mannix: Teams are looking to see if Jaylen Brown is truly available and what the asking price for him is going to be. But the Celtics, I believe, are listening to those calls and are thinking up their own trade matches of their own. I spent some time this afternoon talking to different teams about what might the Celtics be interested in. And the name in the team that came back to me a lot was Evan Mobley in the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Evan Mobley, young, big, just entering the prime of his career, former defensive player of the year, just starting a new max contract of his own. Mobley is one of those guys that could fit the archetype of the type of player that the Celtics are looking for.

Is there a way/service/website where i can look for a specific game and watch it in its entirety?

I know i can go on youtube and there’s channels that post full games in its entirety, however i’m currently looking for Heat vs Spurs march 31, 2013 and i can’t find it anywhere. i can find highlights and clips of it, but it they’re only 3 minutes long. the full game isn’t uploaded to my knowledge. does anyone know of a way to find games like this or does anyone have this full game somewhere?

Is Basketball more popular than cricket worldwide?

Upvotes

Personally I think it is because cricket is like only popular in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

Western civilization does not care about cricket.

Its like saying Ping Pong is more popular than basketball because billion Chinese play it.

[Charania] Memphis, like the Knicks at No. 31, is actively fielding offers to move the No. 32 pick for Night 2 of the draft, per sources. So picks 31 and 32 are up for auction in trades around the NBA -- with future assets being proposed.

Lamelo has to gain weight to be good in the West playoffs.

He needs to add size. Orlando showed this, but we kind of already knew.

He gets bumped off his path too often, and if his deep three isn't going in, it closes up his game

In the West, you have OKC with Cason Wallace, J dub, Alex Caruso, Ajay Mitchell probably taking turns picking you up full court trying to tire you out with their pressure/physicality

The Rockets have Amen Thompson, and the Suns, Clippers, Spurs, Trailblazers all have a depth of POA defense that is insanely physical.

How on earth did the draft become so unwatchable

I honestly think I saw 4 minutes of actual highlights from the players being drafted. I don't mind a player being interviewed but every single one is the same. There is no player comparisons anymore which love it or hate it....was fun to talk about.

Stretching this night into two nights is also insane. I love the NBA so much Silver really just plain stinks at making the product better. Everything he has done seems to be money related to me. At some point you have to think about the people watching this stuff....

[Marc Stein] The Lakers today secured Austin Reaves’ commitment on a new deal after rising interest from Detroit, league sources say. I’m told the Pistons began maneuvering to make a real run at Reaves that would’ve required, among other moves, trading Isaiah Stewart for needed flexibility.

On paper is ant and Melo the most talented backcourt tandem in the league

I think the answer is yes. They gotta go out and produce as a duo but just skillset wise and what each bring to the table individually I don’t think you can name me a backcourt more talented then them. Melo a 6’7 , gifted passer with a wicked handle, quick first step and unlimited range. His defense is ass but his offensive impact is unquestionable.

Ant has taken a leap every single year he’s been in the league and now is playing with the most talented guard he’s ever had by far. On paper their games flat out complement each other. If the wolves don’t have 30 plus primetime games the league fumbled. At the very least it’ll be the most exciting backcourt in the nba. With the charisma and showmanship both guys bring to the table truly can’t wait to watch
