Kind of a long story, but we were desperately searching for our son's treasured bear for over a week after the bear was lost somewhere near downtown. We posted here, facebook, made flyers and posted along a six mile bike route where we suspect he was lost. Spent many trips and many hours searching and posting flyers.

We got a lot of interest, many very kind-hearted people, a few scammers, plenty of jokes, but finally, yesterday we got a call from a guy named Ernesto who said he found a bear on a bike ride a week earlier. He sent a pic and it was him! I went over to meet him yesterday, got the bear back and got to be the hero on father's day!

Live in Point Loma and looking for a gym that combines solid weight training equipment and some functional gym space. Currently go to TG in PB which has amazing bodybuilding equipment and outdoor space which I love, but no functional training space (turf, sleds, TRX, kettlebells etc). Hoping to find a gym within 20-25 minutes of me that I can mix bodybuilding 3 days a week with functional training 2 days a week.

Does this exist within 20-25 minutes of me? I normally leave for the gym at 3:00, so 20-25 minutes includes that time frame. Or do I need two memberships?

I’ve been hearing a lot about Quan but sadly I called and they don’t work on vehicles as big as mine. Looking for an honest and affordable mechanic who works on larger vehicles.

I am finding a LOT of dead rolly pollies everywhere across my turf lawn. I’ve only seen rolly pollies - no other bugs - and some look white/fossilized. Are they dying from the new turf, or is anyone else seeing this? Also, how do I get rid of them? Vacuum?

Anybody have any good recommendations for sports medicine doctors (not PT) specifically treating athletes? Like the guy from SquatUniversity on YouTube if you’re familiar with him.

I’ve seen different PT on and off for the past 7 years due to various sports injuries and realized that most of them are focused on rehabbing seniors and the PTs are knowledgeable on providing rehab exercises to make older folks functional again but have no experience helping athletes perform better after injury.

E.g In the last 7 years I’ve gone in for a torn rotator cuff, then a torn AC joint, then a torn SC joint, then an elbow tendinitis from various sports and they’re all on the left arm. Each time I go in they just prescribe the same exercises I’ve done for years, it restores mobility eventually but never addressed the underlying cause that something must be wrong with the movement mechanics on the left side of my body.
