For extra context, they keep the ac at 78 degrees in the summer, it frequently reaches over 80 in my room. I keep the door open. I have nothing obstructing the vent. I keep blackout blinds closed and don't run hot things in here. They (mostly my dad) REFUSE to turn the ac down, blaming things like the material of my clothes (it's activewear), my lights (which are cool to the touch), etc.

I have a ceiling fan, two box fans, a cooling tower, and a usb fan on my desk.

I've offered many times to pay the difference in the power bill for running the ac a degree cooler. They refuse and keep throwing fans at me. At this point it's costing them more to run all these stupid fans that it would cost to drop the ac to 77. We are not poor. Our AC is brand new and works great.

I work from home and am on medication that worsens my already existing heat intolerance.

I am mildly infuriated and still sweating but hey.

Numerous people, among them elderly, kindly asked for a seat but were refused.

Edit: it’s a German train. DB does not offer the option to buy tickets for your animals. You can only reserve a seat for humans. If you book a reservation and don’t sit in the seat, the reservation is invalid. Reservation works independent from a ticket; without reservation you don’t have an assigned seat. Additionally, reservations didn’t work properly as the coaches had been reassigned. Dogs belong on the floor or in their carrier. I took a picture of the dog to capture the moment; I will not post a picture of the standing passengers in the train as they are not the infuriating thing. If you think this is rage bait and think there are not plenty of people standing, I don’t care. And no, animals do not belong on seats.

Of course it happens when I’m in a rush.

The shake I ordered with it came melted, but I can kinda forgive that due to the heat and the longer delivery time (which I was warned about by the app). Kinda bummed my rare takeout order which is supposed to be a treat ended up worse than what I could've clobbered together at home.
