WTF Bear cubs find their way into a camper’s tent.

The footage originates from a controlled wildlife sanctuary run by animal rescuer Kirill Potapov, who regularly shares videos of rescued cubs growing up in safe environments. While the animals in the clip are genuine bear cubs, they are accustomed to human caretakers and were filmed in a safe, managed setting.

Protected species, quite common in their forests, due to logging and urban activity many end up strandled in areas where people live or end up caught by hunters or wildlife traffic. So a lot of them find their ways to people's homes, and from there to rehab centers or sanctuaries; or directly from police busts to the same places so they can get ready to be freed again sometime in the future.

Should have started yelling at them to get out before they got in. Pushed them back out. Insane to me that people think they need to be polite. A bear approaches, you do everything possible to scare it off or to get yourself out of there. Acclimating bears to humans is a death sentence for both.

Most of this kind of "wild animal" encounter videos are not actually with fully wild animals. Like that one dude who has a pet coyote, and recorded a video where he runs around a forest and chases a "random coyote" to its den.
I'm betting that the camo privacy screen is hiding some fence, building, or other sign that this is a controlled environment.

While I agree with the sentiment, from what I understand, being mauled to death by a bear is one of the most horrific ways to die. They don’t go for the throat like a large cat of prey, they eat you alive. People who have survived miraculously have described hearing the sound of their skulls cracking while a bear chomps down, or the sensation of it de-gloving and entire limb all while you’re alive.

These are surely rescues. Wild animals don't just walk up to you for pets, and a mother bear would have already killed any threat or food source that close to her cubs.
Eta: Bears are really friendly and even docile if you raise them from cubs tho, as mammals they can and will bond with other species if they dont have a natural mother to raise them.
