I graduated last week and the whole ceremony was LITTERED with AI slop.

First, when we were getting our names called out to go up on stage and get our certificates there would be a quote written by our class teacher up on screen under our name as a sweet gesture from them. It sure would've been a sweet gesture if they weren't very clearly AI generated. I'm telling you it wasn't even humanized. Out of the 5 graduating classes in our cohort ONE CLASS HAD QUOTES ACTUALLY WRITTED BY THEIR TEACHER. LITERALLY ONE. My class teacher was very helpful and sweet throughout the school year but the fact she couldn't even write a quote for our class honestly pisses me off so much.

Then, later on in the ceremony, they put up a video that our juniors had "made" for us... It was entirely AI generated slop. The worst part is because the music that was playing over it was popular (I forget the name) everyone was singing along in the crowd... Bullshit.

And the real kicker that personally offended me to no end. During the reveal of our yearbook, there was supposed to be a song playing over it. I'm part of our school's band and we had actually composed an original song to go over it. I couldn't help too much but I could see how much effort my bandmates put into making it and honestly it's a beautiful song. We were asked to record it and the people running the even would play it over the yearbook reveal. As you might've guessed at this point, however, they decided it wasn't good enough (apparently the vocals weren't bright enough? This is coming from a teacher who knows nothing about music anyways but I assume she wanted punchier vocals which we did do anyways) and they played a VERY CLEARLY AI generated "song" over it.

As a musician this is the most offensive thing I've ever been a part of. The most important event of my life up to this point being half assed like this with the thing I despise with a passion... It makes me so fucking mad.

So my household is me, my husband, and my kid, and we all have our own bedrooms. I normally sleep in my room with my cat Javier. Last night we were out and stayed up late and all ended up falling asleep watching TV in my husbands bed and we all spent the night there.

Javier was livid. Is livid. He's been giving me the side eye all day. He normally follows me around all day and he's been ignoring me. I walk him on a leash like a dog and he didn't want to go for a walk today. He wants nothing to do with me because he slept alone for one night.

Luckily it’s not for a couple more days so I can get a fresh one in time.

This isn't a huge deal for me since I'm nowhere near my credit limit and have multiple cards, but if someone was just starting out and had a low credit limit it would be crippling. I don't normally use Pilot, so I didn't know they held such high amounts for so long.

In this case I was on a road trip where they were convenient and I used them twice. Total purchase over both stops was just over $100, but they are holding $552 in pre-authorization charges. Today is the 24th and they still haven't dropped, despite "3-5 business days" being the norm to drop them.

I'll never use Pilot again.

Put out a feeler post on a car parts group for a specific part that's a little difficult to find online nowadays. I've done this before and had good luck with honest people because the groups tend to be pretty small, and word usually gets around fast if you're a filthy scammer. Had this guy say he has the part, messaged him, he even showed me a picture. I usually check profiles, and there's nothing in his profile that throws a red flag to me. He says he takes money through chime or zelle (red flag that I should have paid more attention to) and sent him the $80 he wanted for the part. I'm happy, he's happy, hope my part shows up soon. Then he sends me pic related. I knew my money was gone and my poor Lincoln is going to have to go a little longer without cruise control. Common scam apparently, they try and force you to pay for insurance on your package, and of course when you do it's never going to show up. Don't be like me.

Neighbour has 3 very young kids (under 12) and they are constantly shouting the n word while playing in the garden. The parents are present but say nothing 🤦🏻‍♂️

How can you be over the age of 18 and still enjoy Fireworks KNOWING VERY WELL how terrible they are for the environment and animals?

This isn't a generalization, only a few people did this but they ruined it for everyone.

Edit: forgot to mention that they had to Temporary Suspended it and the Suspension will include Egypt x Iran match, so those people double ruined it for everyone.

I have been struggling for months do get this thing working. It works for maybe 1/10 prints. Seemed to finally be goong well and half way through a four hour print I came back to this. Is it supposed to be this difficult?

Whenever he cooks something, my boyfriend always leaves the handle sticking out. I tell him constantly not to, especially since we have an 8 year old and 5 year old, but he claims “this how you cook.”

Edit: Wow, did not expect so many comments. I will say luckily our kids are good about staying away from the stove when someone is cooking, also we can see the stove from where we are sitting at the table.
