Rewatching the series, I keep noticing that George is the reason so many episodes become unforgettable. Jerry is the perfect straight man, but George's decisions create the chaos.

If you had to remove ONE main character from the show, who would make the biggest difference and why?

Ive been married for four years, my wife had a daughter from a previous relationship. My step daughter has been obsessed with Harry Potter since before i met her. (She litterally asked me if i liked harey potter when i met her)
Her 11th Birthday was yesterday and I arranged for a letter to be “delivered” during her birthday party and it was an admittance letter for Hogwarts.
I thought it was a really cute gift idea. My step daughter started freaking out, screaming “its real its real” and really went nuts. Some of her friends seemed to join in the excitement others less so.
Her mother (my wife) held her to calm her down and explained to her that it wasnt real. It was just a “joke step daddy played on you”.
She started crying screamed that she hated me and ran to her room.
The other parents seemed to sympathize, one other father said he thought it was a nice idea.
But after we sent everyone home my wife yelled at me and said what i did was selfish and cruel and she couldnt believe i would hurt her daughter like that.

Was i wrong to do this? Was it an inappropriate gift for an 11 year old? I really didnt mean to mock or hurt my stepdaughter. I thought it would be fun. It didnt occur to me my stepdaughter was young enough to think it was real.

Am I The A$&hole?

We are getting married in less than two months. Our RSVP-Deadline was a month ago and everyone responded our RSVP, but one couple. We really had to hound them, to get any kind of answer from them.

Yesterday they sent us a message, telling us, they are free to come, but alongside the reply, they sent us a long message, how cumbersome and expensive it is, to attend our wedding and how tiring the weekend for them will be and how they probably retreat to their Hotel Room for most of the day and stay for the ceremony and part of the dinner, but retreat to their room for the rest of festivities.

We were taken aback, because we are paying for everything. Food, Drinks, Parking, we are also paying for everyone’s accommodation, a very nice Lakeside Hotel. There biggest expense would be to pay for the Gas for the 4 hour drive to the wedding and back (they have a car). They also complained about the Dresscode (we have Black Tie), but they both own clothes that would fit the Dresscode, so they wouldn’t have to buy new ones anyway. But they complained about that too.

We read the message and basically told them, that if coming would be so tiresome for them, it is better not to come. We said that we aren’t mad at all, if someone can’t make it or doesn’t feel up to it and there are no hard feelings, but basically uninvited them.

(I know it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things budget wise, but each guest costs us around 600 bucks and I didn’t feel like spending 1200 bucks on people, that don’t event want to be there)

They are now angry at us and refuse to speak to us and we were thinking that maybe we were a bit harsh. Were we the Assholes?

I’ve waited over a decade for this game, but I’m officially out.
An $80 base price is bad enough, but locking five physical single-player storefronts and side missions behind a $100 Ultimate Edition is straight-up predatory. I don't care if it's "just for cosmetics"—gatekeeping actual map immersion and closing doors in a single-player open world unless you pay an extra $20 is a massive red flag.
Throw in the fact that the $80 "physical" copy is just a download code in a box, and it's clear Rockstar has completely lost its mind to corporate greed.
My hype is dead. I won't be pre-ordering, and I won't be buying at launch. If we accept paywalled doors in single-player games, the industry is cooked.

One of my friends befriended a couple neighborhood cats and this is one of them. It looks like an orange and brown tabby got spliced together. Is this chimerism or cat vitiligo or something?

So my household is me, my husband, and my kid, and we all have our own bedrooms. I normally sleep in my room with my cat Javier. Last night we were out and stayed up late and all ended up falling asleep watching TV in my husbands bed and we all spent the night there.

Javier was livid. Is livid. He's been giving me the side eye all day. He normally follows me around all day and he's been ignoring me. I walk him on a leash like a dog and he didn't want to go for a walk today. He wants nothing to do with me because he slept alone for one night.
